²Lilian Bridges - Britney Spears' grandmother(!)

²Emma Bunton - Singer Baby Spice hails from Finchley and attended Bishop Douglass School in Hamilton Road (East Finchley).

²Robert Fripp  - musician

The King Crimson guitarist, now married to Toyah Wilcox, came from Finchley.

²David Jason - actor.

"G...Ger...Ge...Granville" from Open All Hours went on to starring roles in Only Fools and Horses, The Darling Buds of May and A Touch of Frost. David came from Finchley and is still the patron of Incognito Theatre in Friern Barnet.

²Spike Milligan - comedian and honorary chair of the Finchley Society.

Spike lived with his family in Holden Road, North Finchley.

²Eric Morecambe - comedian

Half of the Morecambe & Wise team lived near Torrington Park in North Finchley.

²Margaret Thatcher - former Prime Minister

MP for Finchley - though she actually lived in Dulwich

²Terry Thomas - actor 

Hollywood's favourite Englishman began in amateur drama whilst living in Finchley.

²Toyah Wilcox - singer and actor 

Toyah, who had hits in the 80's and went on to become a successful actor, lived in Finchley.
