We want you!
The Archer is a purely voluntary
organisation run by members of the community. We receive no funding
from outside sources and no member of the team receives any payment. Our
printing costs are covered by advertising and kind
donations from the public.
We are always on the lookout for new
members to write, research, edit, take photos, sell advertising, deliver or
simply to come up with new ideas.
Do you have skills which you think we
could use - or would you like to learn a new skill working with us?

The Archer team meets in The
Bald Faced Stag on the corner of East Finchley High Road and East End Road, at 11 am on most Saturday
mornings. Why not come down and meet us - or
e-mail
us if you would like to talk to someone first.
It's more than just a newspaper
The Archer has a stall at East Finchley
Community Festival every year, but it's not always hard work! We have
social events, meals out and barbecues throughout the year.
In September 2001 we threw a party for all
our contributors, distributors, advertisers and members past and present
to celebrate our 100th issue.
We also organised a historical walk around
East Finchley, which proved very popular. We hope to make this a regular
event.
How you can help
Your contributions are important to us. Do
you have news for us? Maybe you have written a short story or would
like to suggest a feature, if so please
contact
us.
You, the reader, make the Archer what it is -
A newspaper produced by the community - for the community.
